During the last five years the
use of the Deep Stabilization method has become the most frequently used reinforcement
method in Swedish infrastructure projects. The experience of the method is favourable from
a tecnicual point of view as well as an economical.
Member organisations
The Swedish Deep
Stabilization Research Centre (SD) was established in 1996 by governental authorities,
research organisations and industry. The purpose is to develop the deep stabilization
techniqne in order to improve safety, economy and quality of the technics. The Joint
Research Programme is financed and carried out in close co-operation between member
organisations.
