SGI Library / Information Service

The central geotechnical library in Sweden with more than 100.000 bibliographic records. About 10.000 books and more than 1.600 conference proceeedings plus several international journals. Since the SGI was established in 1944, the Library has continuously been developed to become one of the most comprehensive in the world.

SGI-Line Literature Database

The database is one of a small number in the world specialised in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering. The database contains some 70.000 references from 1976 up to present, even older valuable literature are available.

Library Services

You can borrow reports and books (within the Nordic Countries) and we offer copies of articles from journals and conference proceedings. We offer for sale SGI Publications and reports from the Swedish Geotechnical Society.
